Emi Sakamoto

Emi Sakamoto is the founder of Our Minds United. She was inspired to coalize young people across the state to advocate for K-12 educational reform in response to the mental health crisis. In representing California in the 62nd United States Senate Youth Program and presiding as the 76th Chief Justice of California’s Youth and Government, she was inspired by the power of youth in affecting public policy. She is currently a freshman at Stanford University, where she is studying Political Science and Public Policy.
