Haifa Maung

Haifa Maung is a Freshman at the University of California, Berkeley. She is an aspiring artist hoping to use artistic skills to voice systemic issues and explore ideas related to the human condition. During her time at Culver City High School, was the co-president of AVPA (Academy of Visual Performing Arts), Co president of IDOT (Innovative Designers Of Tomorrow), and a Greenhouse Restoration Leader up at Baldwin Hills. Beyond those extracurriculars, she pushes for advocacy through her role as a member of the non profit organization, BAMA (Burmese Muslim Association) and working alongside her peers to develop a mental health curriculum at her school.
